Q: Where exactly in BKLYN Commons is the venue space located? 

A: The event space is located on the 2nd floor. Please check in at the front desk, and a BKLYN Commons team member will direct you to your assigned area. 

Q: Can you share the dimensions of the six-foot table (Height, Width)? 

A: 6 ft length x 70” width x 30” height 

Q: Is there an elevator? What are the dimensions? 

A: Yes, BKLYN COMMONS has an entrance elevator with a 42-inch wide door. We also have a freight elevator in the rear of the building that is 7.4ft deep, 6.5 ft wide, and 8ft tall. 

Q: Are there electric outlets available? 

A: Due to the limited outlets in the space and preventing outlet outages, we will only provide outlets to food vendors in the kitchen area. 

Q: Will the venue have WIFI? 

A: WIFI is available; credentials will be provided upon checking in. 

Q: Is there a specific date and time for setup? 

A: Setup is from 3:30 pm- 5 pm on the day of the event - Thursday, Nov 13, 2025 

Q: How much time after the event do we have to break down? 

A: 1.5 hours starting from 9:00 pm to 10:00 pm. 

Q: Is the Open Desk: Small Business Pop-Up a kid-friendly event? 

A: Yes, of course! However, all children must be supervised at all times. Children are not permitted to roam the building or play in common spaces. 

Q: May I hang things from the walls? 

A: Yes, as long as it does not cause damage to the wall. However, not all vendors' tables are in front of a wall. The BKLYN Commons team will inform you of the table number and location of the assigned table when you check in on November 13, 2025.

• No pushpin

• No helium balloons 

• Anything that leaves smudges, marks, discolorations, holes, or chips or that removes paint is prohibited 

Q: What if I don’t wish to use the table provided? Can I bring in additional furniture? 

A: In an effort to elevate your experience, feel free to bring in additional furniture. If you desire to do so, please inform the BKLYN Commons team as soon as possible. 

Q: Do I need insurance? 

A: Yes. All vendors are required to have a CERTIFICATE OF LIABILITY INSURANCE. 

Please purchase the event insurance at: www.eventhelper.com, and name BKLYN COMMONS as additionally insured on your insurance policy. Please email a copy of the insurance to the Event Director (events@smallbusinesspopup.com) at least three days before the event.
